As many of you are gearing up for this week's AZ Rotary Days of Service projects, please take a moment to reflect on the impact that your efforts are making.
Arizona Governor Katie Hobbs has officially proclaimed this week as Arizona Rotary Week of Service, and Rotary clubs throughout the state invite friends, neighbors and fellow citizens to join them as they conduct service projects to benefit the local community during the fourth annual Rotary Week of Service.
Rotary clubs throughout the state have planned a wide range of community projects that include hosting food drives, cleaning local parks, donating items to homeless shelters, planting trees and more.

The Rotary Leadership Institute is a grassroots, multi-district leadership development program whose mission is to strengthen Rotary clubs through quality leadership education.
Rotary is a non-political, non-religious volunteer organization whose purpose is to "provide service to others, promote integrity, and advance world understanding, goodwill, and peace through the fellowship of business, professional, and community leaders". The heart of Rotary is our dedicated community members, who share the ideals of service, friendship, diversity, integrity, and leadership.
To demonstrate how it makes a difference, Rotary District 5500, which represents all of southern Arizona, surveyed the results of a just a few local club service activities during the first six months (July-December 2023) of this current Rotary year. The results are impressive. From a sample of just 24% (12 of 51) clubs it is easy to see what a tremendous impact Rotarians have on changing the lives of children and adults in our communities.
RC SaddleBrooke and RC Tucson are seeking support for a Turn Key International Project called Corazon - Build a House In A Day. This is a perfect opportunity to participate in a One Day international project with a small commitment of cash and/or some labor and it's all organized by someone else!
