Author: Three Worlds, One Voyage: Cruising to Antarctica (and Trying to get Home) during the Coronavirus Pandemic.  Don shares his vivid, first-hand account of a small expedition cruise to Antarctica in March 2020 just as the Coronavirus exploded across the globe. Stories and photos juxtapose the continent’s fascination with the real-life challenge of finding a way home as reports of sick cruise ships grew, flight cancellations multiplied, and port after port turned the ship away.

Since 2000, ShelterBox has provided shelter, warmth, and hope following more than 300 disasters in over 100 countries. ShelterBox serves the most vulnerable families who have been displaced due to earthquake, volcano, flood, hurricane, cyclone, tsunami, or conflict by delivering essential shelter aid and life-saving supplies. ShelterBox’s core aid items include a disaster relief tent for an extended family, blankets, a water filtration system, emergency lighting, and other tools for survival. ShelterBox is an official Project Partner of Rotary International.
