The Rotary Foundation does not build buildings that can be part of a Global Grant, so here's an opportunity for you or your club (or both) would like to join with Rotary Districts 4100, 5495 and 5500 as well as 44 other Rotarians, Rotaractors to be part of our Grass Roots Effort to raise funds to build a School and Community Center for the Triqui Tribe and their children.
RC SaddleBrooke is seeking support for a Turn Key International Project called Corazon - Build a House In A Day. This is a perfect opportunity to participate in a One Day international project with a small commitment of cash and/or some labor and it's all organized by someone else!
It is with great sadness we share that our fellow Rotarian and dear friend, PDG Chuck Fitzgerald, of the Rotary Club of Peoria North, recently lost his wife, Susan Fitzgerald, a longtime member of the Rotary Club of Peoria. Susan died on Dec. 8th, 2023 after a four-year battle with breast cancer. They were married for 31 years.
