Sandy
Goodsite became a member of Tucson/Pantano Rotary Club in 1991,
and has served the club as Treasurer, Family of Rotary Chair,
Membership Chair and President in 1997-98. Sandy was the District
Youth Exchange Chair from 1994-1998, Associate Governor 1999-2000, member
of the All-Rotarian Group Study Exchange to Far Eastern Russia in
1998, Registrar of the “Rotary in Russia” Conference in Tucson
in 2001, Assistant Governor in 2005-2006 and now serves on the
Board of Directors of “Rotary in Russia”. For the past 7
years, she has headed up a group of volunteers who solicit gifts
for, and organize an annual Silent Auction which benefits the
Rotary Foundation. Her husband, Ron, was the District 5500
Centennial Governor.
Ron & Sandy
have 4 married children and 8 grandchildren. Sandy’s
business “Professional Medical Management, Inc.” runs medical
practices and does billing services for them. The Goodsites
moved to Tucson from Albany New York when Ron finished his medical
training in 1971.
Sandy received
Rotary International’s “Service Above Self” award in 2000,
is a multiple Paul Harris Fellow, and became a Benefactor in 1999,
and she and Ron each became a Bequest Society member in
2004.
