New 2023-24 Leadership Teams
Congratulations and many thanks to our fellow Rotarians who have agreed to serve in a key leadership role as your Assistant Governor or a District Committee Chair position. All have answered the call to assist their fellow Rotarians and club this year. We are lucky to have such an impressive group of leaders in Southern Arizona. New Rotary Year = Time to Update Your Membership and Club Officers!
July 1 was the deadline for Rotary Clubs to update your 2023-24 Club Officer listings and membership numbers in ClubRunner. We rely on the data in ClubRunner to provide you with the latest information about District and Rotary activities. Unfortunately, only 22 clubs have submitted their presidents into the system to date, even less for other positions. For clubs that do not use their own ClubRunner, you can do this from the District’s ClubRunner page. Submitting this data is easy. To see how, CLICK HERE
District Grant Applications due by July 31
Clubs can apply for District Grants from $250 to $4000 for a club project in the Grant Module of our D5500 ClubRunner Member Section until July 31.
District Grant funds come from Annual Fund Giving our clubs contributed to The Rotary Foundation three years ago. If your club does a yearly community project, you can now use district grant funds, as long as the beneficiaries are new. Your club must be qualified before you can apply for a grant: the MOU and District Addendum need to be signed and submitted to the Stewardship Chair and two club members must have taken the Grant Management Seminar, including the contact person that will be filling out the grant application. For more information, please go to the District Grant Webpage. If you have any questions, please contact District Grant Chair Audrey Tolouian at aud2lu@yahoo.com.
