District 5500 Strategic Action Plan 2023-2026

Every Strategic Goal and Action Item was developed to best support your Rotary Club during the next 3 years and to align with Rotary International’s four strategic priorities.

The Strategic Imperative directs: “By 2026 District 5500 Rotarians and Rotary Clubs will be recognized for leading and partnering on service projects that create lasting local and global community change.”

The new Plan targets improvements and support to clubs in all areas to Increase Impact, Expand Our Reach, Enhance Participant Engagement, and Increase our Ability to Adapt.

Note: The 28-member planning team included current and incoming club presidents, past District Governors, leadership team members, current and new members representing all geographic regions of the District, genders, ages, ethnicities, large and small clubs, urban and rural clubs. The plan also included feedback from over 100 additional Rotarians District-wide.

As noted in the title, the new Plan is “Action-focused” and for continuous improvement and the addition of new objectives and action items. An “Action Plan Success Team” will help to promote, evaluate, and update the plan regularly throughout the three-year timeframe.  More to come on this process.  Please feel free to share the Plan with your club members.
